PARAPHRASE -
TELEGRAM.
The Governor of Hong Kong to the
Secretary of State for the Colonies.

With reference to your oypher telegram of
2nd of February. A steamer named "Chinese Prince"
belonging to the American-Asiatic Line and flying
the British flag sailed to-day for New York via
Suez Canal with 822 cases of antimony through cargo
from Hankau shipped partly by 7Shevantomes to
She wantomes New York and partly by Schnabel Gaumer
and Company to the order of Winter and Company New
York.
Consul-General Canton reports American named
Paget has contracted with Chinese for monthly supplies
of antimo(n)y for United States and that dirt money
has been paid by a Krupp agent Diederichsend of
Shamien. May I stop this antimo(n)y if it comes
through Hong Kong on through bill of lading?
